Summer street style inspirations

Posted by Sophie on Tuesday, July 20th, 2010

Here are some chic summer styles straight from the streets.  I’ve always adored the look of loose fitting clothes and boots in summer… yes, boots!  The lovely wedge booties in the 4th pic looks like the Annton wedges from Steve Madden.  Luv!!!

I wish I was in Europe to take a break from this grueling heat sweeping across the east coast.  Getting tired of seeing flip flops all around the city.

Happy strolling in combat cutout heels

Posted by Sophie on Monday, March 29th, 2010

Time for some cutting-edgy style!  The ghillie-style shoes are popular this season with their unique & fierce appeal.  Forever 21’s Combat Cutout Heels combines the toughness of combat boots and the sexiness of cutout heels.  For boot lovers like myself this pair is more than ideal for spring & summer.  A perfect complement for a fun day out.  Can’t beat the $27.80 price tag.  Pretty painted tootsies are a must!

Feelin’ Blue Lately

D&G Spring Summer 2010 Ad Campaign

This year, the denim trend goes further than just jeans but also skirts, dresses, tops, and accessories as well from runway couture to street fashion.  One thing I love about denim is how easy it is to wear and easy to care for… definitely an easy trend to follow.

Spring 2010 RTW – Chloe, Ralph Lauren, D&G

Jessica Biel is wearing Ralph Lauren SS 10 for the cover of Vogue’s Feb. 10 issue.  I still have a classic denim jacket from the 80’s & 90’s.  The jacket is truly timeless.

Model Abbey Lee in D&G SS 10.  I’ve always adored distressed jeans.

The soft blue and relaxed fit look very chic on these two fashionistas.  When in doubt, roll up!

I’m currently really into oversized tops and this Vila Oversized Denim Shirt fits the bill (below) when it comes to the size and the color.  It’s the perfect outerwear for transitional weather… layer over another light piece to stay comfy & warm.
