As you are already aware, rain boots are not only functional but make for fab statement shoes. We can now enjoy rain boots throughout the year, rain or shine, thanks to endless style options. I wear them like any other boots. Rain boots are quite versatile and look awesome with shirts/shorts, dresses/tights, sweaters/leggings, etc.
Initially I wasn’t really into croco rain boots but they have slowly grown on me over time. The croc-emboss gives a little exoticness without going overboard and definitely more appealing than plain rain boots. These wild boots can truly elevate your rainy day ensemble to another level. The most popular pair has to be the Jimmy Choo for Hunter Boots. I swear, I want these wellies in every color! Brrr, it’s getting colder & colder everyday! When it’s cold out, I always reach for my Ugg boots. They are the best for keeping my feet warm and cozy. When my feet are toasty, my whole body feels good. I own the traditional uggies which I can’t live without but the suede tends to get dirty fast in rain and snow. Well, I’m excited to say the least that now we can have the best of both worlds, the cozy winter style plus all the wonderful features to keep that harsh weather at bay.
UGG Australia FW 09, launched new weatherproof Meridian boots. Talking about such adorable winter boots! But don’t let the adorable style fool you… these are some serious snow, rain boots! The water resistant leather & nylon withstands the nasty wind and keeps water/snow from getting inside. Also, the special EVA sole to keep you from sliding down. Love the pom-pom zipper in the back! Oh, I LOVE rain. I really enjoy those gloomy days with thunderstorms. One more reason to like this type of weather is that I get to wear my cute rain boots! Rain boots are no longer only for farmers! I also wear rain boots whenever I need to walk a lot without worrying about messing up the shoes especially expensive leather shoes… you don’t want them to get wet!
Since rain boots are the IT fashion item now more so then ever, there are so many different styles available! Some of them just simply rock! I particularly love the ankle ones because they remind me of western boots and they look so chic with skirts. You can wear the colorful ones with fun patterns like polka dots that go great with jeans. Sarah Michelle Gellar looks fab in her black Hunter boots which is also one of my favorites.
