There is no other color that pops quite like RED! Red rules! Ha! Red is passionate, sexy, and classic. The key is not to over do it by dressing up in red from head to toe but simply punch up the color by wearing like a pair of red pumps or comfy tights. And, perhaps, how about short red nails to go with?
You can’t go wrong with a simple red top like the Long Sleeve Deep Vee from Michaelstars.com - they have an exceptional collection of cotton tops! In fact, I’m wearing one of their red T-shirts as I’m writing now… truly perfect!
Here are some examples to mastering your red. What are your favorite red pieces? Have you checked out my lucky red wallets yet?

I (and so many others…) had my eyes fixated on a new political fashion icon, Michelle Obama’s wardrobe from her ceremony outfit to her inaugural ball gown. One piece in particular that caught my attention was the dress she wore to the National Prayer Service at the National Cathedral the day after the inauguration. Michelle looked absolutely smashing!
I was pleasantly surprised with her 50’s style dress… how refreshing was that look compared to the typical, rigid church attire! I adore the Japanese garden prints, cheerful colors, and a feminine silhouette of the dress… even more lovely with a pair of flats.
This stunning dress was designed by Tracy Feith, a New York-based designer who has a collection launching at Target on May 17. The dress is still in circulation for $720 at Feith’s Madison Avenue Store (212-334-3097).

In the mean time, here is one of my favorite vintage dresses. I crave vintage fashion with unique prints such as this fun carousel & floral… so charming! Looks fabulous with a pair of flats & a cardigan.

1. Modern Carousel Tunic $88.49 $117.99
2. Annie Karen Flats $44.90
3. Christin Michaels Leah Sweater $81.00 $90.00

Fashionista Vanessa Hudgens looking fabulous while out shopping. These cutout heels put her wardrobe on a whole new level - sexy, fierce and oh-so-irresistible! The Givenchy Women’s Birdcage Bootie were on sale for $465.47 from Endless.com and now they are sold out.
However, there is a much cheaper alternative - SALLINA BLACK PATENT for $67.46 from SteveMadden.com! Oooh, I so love them… and the price!
A criss-cross pattern give these shoes a unique look, make this pair a must for any fashionista! They are also easy to put on with elastics. Wear them with your favorite jeans or minis for a chic look this season. Oh, and don’t forget to showcase your pretty polished toes!

I can’t emphasize enough how ridiculously comfortable leggings are. Like you have nothing on! If you wear them right, leggings can be ultra stylish and super sexy… especially black leggings. They are so versatile and will virtually go with any outfit.
Leggings look best with a layered look. Go for the all-black ensemble with high heel sandals to lengthen your legs and get that skinny effect. I’m really into leather leggings this season. I like how it shines… totally rock’ n roll and totally hip!!! Here are some of my favorites.
