Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Now that we are finally & officially into the fall season (woohoo!!!), I wanna talk about cardigans! Cardigans are perhaps the most popular lightweight cover-ups. Comfy and versatile, they are must-have transition pieces from summer to fall. Cardigans don’t have to be basic. It’s already September… woohoo!!! That means Autumn is just around the corner. I can’t hardly wait for this wonderful season to come. I do enjoy the craziness of summer – the beach, ice coffee, maxi dresses… but I’m more than ready to be done with the blistering heat! Aren’t you?
One of many reasons for my love of Autumn along with the weather change is the wardrobe. Here are my top 5 fall essentials that are timeless yet trendy.
1. Colorful Trench
Don’t talk about fall fashion without mentioning trenches. The classic khaki trench is of course my ultimate favorite, but this season go for color. The crimson/brick red is a HOT color for this fall.

Whether it’s a T-shirt or evening dress, look for asymmetric designs. The obscure cut adds more edginess & unbalanced coolness.
