Spanish beauty Penelope Cruz graces the cover of W Magazine August 2008. I just received the magazine today and I have to say, it’s the prettiest photo of Penelope I’ve ever seen. I’m glad how the cover emphasized only on her face. Her eye makeup is fantastic! There are also great photos of Kate Moss, Christy Turlington and Gisele Bundchen in this issue.

Who wants heavy cakey makeup in the summer? Not me. I break out terribly if I wear heavy makeup mixed with sweat…yuck! I like to wear makeup that’s light, natural looking and still looks absolutely beautiful.
Here is my favorite makeup look from Rachel Bilson. Love her subtle look that makes her glow from within! Tinted moisturizer, hint of blush, lip gloss and a eyeliner is all you need.

Well, not literally haha! It’s so refreshing to see bold colors for the eyes instead of the same ol’ brown & black that we see everyday. Never thought that a yellow & blue hue would look so pretty together! This blazing bi-color combo is the hot makeup trend right now. I’d recommend using matte shadows instead of shimmery ones for the cooler effect.
