Cool off this summer with this icy, refreshing, picturesque red wine dessert. This dessert is just red wine with shaved ice and some yummy toppings. This recipe is from a foreign blog and I was thankfully able to find the translated version!
The recipe is super easy yet it’s out-of-this-world delicious! Not too rich nor overly sweet, just decadent! And get chilled to the bone! Great for red wine lovers… for kids, substitute wine with milk.
Here is the recipe!
A sweet red wine – Cabernet Sauvignon wine is ideal.
Main Ingredients:
ice, chilled wine
For the Toppings (adjust according to your taste):
ice cream, sweetened condensed milk, brie or Camembert cheese,
favorite fruits such as red grapes, cherries, raisins, dried prunes.

Summer is essentially here and that means it’s time to get out the sunscreen, your new ensemble and hit the beach. If you are heading shoreside make sure you look great and are protected from the sun’s harmful UV rays.

You know, I find plaid shirts sexy! I love wearing them in the summer with jean shorts and sandals. It keeps me from freezing indoors. Looks like plaid will be in for this fall/winter from what I’ve seen on the Fall 09 runways.
Avoid overly big sizes… instead, find a slim fit. They are really cute when you tuck them in with a cute buckle belt.

Yes, layer like a pro even in the summer for that chic, groovy look. I put together a fun beachy outfit that will make many heads turn!
Put on a deep v-neck dress over a vibrant embroidered bikini (show off your gorgeous bikini top!), start layering some yummy accessories – wide belt (wear low on the waist… sexy) , beaded necklace, cowboy hat, aviator sunglasses and a lovely pair of platform wedges! Top it off with an adorable crochet denim vest (unbuttoned).
As always, have fun layering by mixing & matching. Now you are ready to hit the streets!
