We’ve seen from earlier on this year models rocking the socks + sandals trend from the Burberry runways to fashion mag spreads. I find the look to be more ideal during fall instead of spring/summer. A clever way to enjoy your sandals even after the weather cools down. Plus, I just hate to put away all those chic sandals for a long time. Ankle socks work best when paired with platform wedges or sandals. Or pull down knee-high socks if you like the scrunched look. And ultimately, thin socks are the way to go.

The TRACKKS wedge sandals below look hot with socks.

I personally would wear the black pair with black socks turning them into black ankle boots for fall.

More options!

What do you think about the Forever 21 fall inspiration lookbook? Definitely screams “back to school”… I’m so over with the big lettered & numbered tees. The shoes and outerwear are quite lovely though. I’d love to go to Forever 21’s new giant store in Times Square… a whole day shopping trip in 90,000 square feet of heaven!

Yuuummmmy!!! Sam Edelman’s Lorissa pumps are here to satisfy our sweet-shoe craving. Like a caramel dipped apple, the shoe is dipped in a pile of rhinestones & spikes… just enough to coat the back side of the heel. Delicious! These bad babies will rock-ify any outfit from your everyday jeans to an evening dress.

Get them at Zappos ($200.95), Dillard’s ($200), or Nordstrom ($199.95). Also comes in White (snake embossed leather).

Yaaaayyy! Perhaps the most anticipated must-have shoes from Jeffrey Campbell’s Fall 2010 collection – LITA boots are now available at Solestruck. Scoop up these bad babies before they sell out!

Lita boots are quite similar to the Charles Anastase platforms from the Fall 2010 collection… but much cheaper!
