Celebrities and models showed up for the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala, “Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy” in New York 0n May 5, 2008.  Gisele Bundchen and her beau Tom Brady have now been added to my list of the most beautiful couples in Hollywood.  I would say they are the perfect Barbie & Kent…such Barbie dolls!

Oh boy, I remember these shades from the 80’s.  Haha.  Ray Ban sunglasses were an “it fashion” item back then and guess what…they still are today!  I think these shades are just perfectly sized and have the coolest design - quintessential stylish shades!  I absolutely adore them.  So do Kate Moss and Sienna Miller who enjoy wearing Ray Ban’s on many occasions.  My favorites are black & red with size 54mm.  I think the original Ray Ban Wayfarers are the best of all.  Trust me, they will never go out of style!

Christina Aguilera is the new face for the Stephen Webster Jewelry campaign which is inspired by Alfred Hitchcock films.  Christina is not comparable to legendary star Grace Kelly but the shots still came out very nice with the help of photoshop.  I still think the blonde doesn’t fit Christina all that well.  What do you think?

Victoria is ready to launch a men’s denim line which will hit stores this August under her dVb label.  Victoria recently emphasized how much she doesn’t like skinny jeans on men and that dVb men’s denim will be anything but skinny!  We all know her hubby David Beckham is a great dresser and he claims that Victoria is the one who picks out his outfits.  She clearly hints that David looks good in his baggy jeans!

“I think guys should wear jeans big and baggy, with a big pair of boots or flip-flops—exactly how you see David when he’s out in his jeans and T-shirt,”  

“Do not pull them up tight and have your bulge showing.  Let it hang!  These are not skinny jeans. They are what I call proper men’s jeans…I didn’t want anything too tight around the crotch. That really repulses me. It might be fashionable, but you are not going to get that from dVb.”

Hey, only if those dVb men’s jeans would make all men look half as good as David, I’m all for it!  Maybe, it will look something like this?  HOT!

Victoria Beckham looks so amazing.  When you look at her, you’d never guess she has three kids…three gorgeous boys!  Not to mention her super hot husband David Beckham and a lucrative fashion label Rock & Republic under her belt.  Recently, Victoria was spotted hanging with her kids at a Hollywood park.  This ultra chic mom sure knows how to look so hip & cool.  Who says mom has to look like a typical mom - raggedy and old?  Not Victoria of course!  I love her yellow shades and the pants.  They go so well together. 

The remarkable French actress Brigitte Bardot was one of the most well-known sex kittens during the 1950s through 1960s.  I personally think she’s the #1 sexiest film star of all time.  More than 50 years ago, Brigitte had an amazing style - fearless, daring, hip and of course sexy!  Her delicate facial features are out of this world.  I also love her hairstyles - you can see my post titled Brigitte Bardot sexy hairdo & check out the video!  Brigitte’s fashion style was ahead of her time when things were quite conservative.  She has been an avid animal rights activist for a long time and has helped raise millions for the animals well-being and care.  Click each photo for a larger view.

There are so many copycats who wanted to be like Brigitte since her retirement yet there is no one that can top her innocent sex appeal…not even Marilyn Monroe.  I must say, I really like the old Guess ads which brought us Brigitte Bardot look-a-like models.  Claudia Schiffer & Landi Swanepoel look very much like Brigitte in the ads.

Jessica Simpson’s puppy travels in style as well!  First I didn’t notice the puppy in the carrier…wow, that dog is surely spoiled.  I must say, even a pet carrier can look fashionable if made by Louis Vuitton.  My personal favorite pet carrier is the Juicy Couture Dog Carrier which is more soft and hip looking than the Louis Vuitton one…with a much cheaper price tag!  Click each photo for a larger view.
