The Chanel Resort 2011 is my favorite resort collection this year and is one of the best warm-weather looks from Chanel. Held in the gorgeous setting of St. Tropez with models strutting in beautiful yet relaxed beachy ensembles. Some barefoot. Hot!
Here is one of my favorite looks from the collection. Love the mix of metallic – silver bikini top & gold sandals. The jacket dresses up the whole look and the linen material is ideal for summer. If the jacket is too hot, throw on a sheer top over a bikini instead.
Cia Marítima debuted its Summer 2010/11 collection during the Sao Paulo Fashion Week June 9, 2010. Cia Marítima is the hottest beachwear brand in Brazil. Watching the models parading in swimsuits makes me crave the sunny beaches in Brazil… and a mojito of course.
I’m feeling this coral bikini from the collection. Coral screams summer and is so sexy against a sun-kissed complexion.
Found a similar hot coral bikini but with cute little metallic heart prints. Both top & bottom are fromVictoria’s Secret’s Beach Sexy brand and they are now on sale.
Chanel went from their country-chic spring collection to a hairy beast fest for fall 2010. Toasty coats & boots are ok but furry pants?… no thanks. I’m glad they are all faux fur! Go fake when it comes to fur. The bags are quite lovely in this collection particularly the ice crystal clutch.
Models sported simple & minimal hairstyles for Fall 2010 RTW fashion shows. Look lovely on the runway but definitely not a flattering look for me. I need some volume for my hair. The style is not easy to pull off… I can never part a straight line in the middle. I’ll stick with messy and undone.
On Feb. 23rd from London Fashion Week, Burberry will be live streaming their F/W 2010 collection in 3d. The 3d show is private and invitation only events held in NY, Paris, Dubai, and Tokyo. You can also view the live show at live.burberry.com, of course, in 2d. Judging from how much I enjoyed Avatar in 3d, watching the fashion show in 3d would be quite an experience. One step closer to seeing them in reality. Still, nothing beats being at the live show!
