Here are three of my favorite bath & body products. Hope that you find these product comparisons helpful and useful in keeping you beautiful through this hectic holiday season and after!
- Coconut Body Scrub – Whether in the middle of the summer or in the dead of winter I always enjoy a scrumptious coconut body scrub . My favorite of course is the Coconut Body Scrub ($20) from The Body Shop… a spa in a tub, yummy enough to wanna eat! Did I mention that I’m a coconut-aholic? My cheaper alternative is the Softsoap Body Butter Coconut Scrub ($5.49) with crushed coconut & jojoba butter. Although there isn’t much of a coconut scent but I love the rich texture and the moisturizing effect. Comes in a generous 15oz bottle.

- Exfoliating Body Lotion – My aunt swears by the Glytone Body Lotion ($34) to treat her ugly red bumps (Keratosis Pilaris) on her upper arms. Not only does it reduce the redness but the lotion is an excellent body quencher. Thanks to the glycolic acid which is very effective exfoliating agent. To my surprise, I’m also thrilled with the Lubriderm Advanced Therapy Triple Smoothing Lotion ($8.29) formulated with alpha hydroxy acid that gently exfoliates skin plus 24 hr moisturization – exfoliator & moisturizer all in one! This lotion has lessened the appearance of the bumps/irritation on my legs and left my skin hydrated all day long. Doesn’t have quite the medicinal quality as the Glytone but for the price, it doesn’t get any better!

- Scented Body Lotion – This Trish McEvoy #9 Blackberry & Vanilla Musk Body Lotion ($45) might be on the pricey side but once you experience its deliciously fragrant moisturization, your skin has never felt more luxurious & pretty. Goes on very light with a heavenly blackberry & vanilla scent along with all the goodness of shea butter and chamomile. The glitter in the lotion is perfect for a festive time or night out but some of you might find it a bit too much. For those who prefer the lighter vanilla scent with sweet berries, the Black Raspberry Vanilla Body Lotion ($10.50) from Bath & Body Works is a good option. Doesn’t have the long lasting power as the Trish lotion but still warm & sweet… and affordable!

As the weather warms and summer draws near, I CRAVE coconut scent every year about this time. I have posted on Sephora’s dry oil line previously but I wanted to remind you again of this wonderful Sephora Coconut Cream Dry Oil Spray 5 oz. A must-have for a beach get-away!
If you enjoy coconut fragrance like I do, I strongly recommend this spray. It’s not overpowering or too sweet. Just that perfect aroma of coconut that smells soooooooo good on the skin!
You simply spray, goes on a bit greasy yet sinks in and dries to this silky smooth, moisturized skin. You can wear it alone or layer it lightly on top. I apply my favorite The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter and then spray the dry oil for more lasting power!
One bottle goes a long way and it’s only $8! Also check out my absolute favorite summer scent of all time – VIRGIN ISLAND WATER by Creed.

One of my favorite beauty regimens – honey sugar scrub. Honey can be used in many ways for different beauty treatments but I like honey scrub the best! This homemade honey sugar scrub is super easy to make plus it costs almost next to nothing.
All you need is honey, brown sugar (organic is the best), and olive oil (optional). Make sure to use raw, unprocessed honey! Mix all ingredients together until desired consistency.

Works fabulously on my face especially the T-zone for a deep pore cleansing (open up your pores before using). Please, apply it ever-so-gently over the face… rub slowly… as you melt those sugar grains against your finger tips.
Leave it on your face for a couple of minutes then massage again in a circular motion while applying warm water. Rinse off! Time to say hello to velvety skin and bye, bye blackheads! I do this about once a week.
I also use it as a body scrub in the shower whenever I have dry, flaky skin. Ahhh, how fantastic for feet & elbows… baby soft!
Not really Miss. Homemade? Here are my favorite honey scrubs available on the market that get the job done! And can I say scrumptious!!!

Pamper yourself or your guests with the bliss sinkside six pack ($25) from NY’s hottest spa. A perfect gift and a great way to sample Bliss products. You might find yourself getting hooked with these travel size beauty products… like I did.
What I love about this pack is the refreshing, clean lemon scent especially the face wash which leaves my face squeaky clean… a morning pick-me-up! I use the Soapy Sap as a bubble bath and it leaves my bathroom smelling fantastic! I have one pack in the guest bathroom and one for the road. Can’t live without!
