Jennifer Aniston Looking Fab Glam

Posted by Sophie on June 13, 2009

Lovely Jennifer Aniston looks stunning in a Prada dress and Azzedine Alaia Heels.  I love those heels… has that “barely-there” look… so sexy!  She manages to have such great hairstyles too… hate her!  LOL!

Put on a metallic dress and a pair of dressy sandals for a hot night out.  Accessorize with a bold cocktail ring & a clutch!  Easy, simple, yet glamorous!

Fedora Fashionista

Posted by Sophie on May 31, 2009

From celebs to models on the Gucci Runway, fedoras are one of the season’s hottest accessories.  Not only are fedoras super stylish but they also offer additional sun protection.  And, of course, bad hair days no more!

Fedoras will add some pop to your overall look!  I wear mine with a semi-casual outfit.  Personalize your look… step out with your best hattitude forward!  Here are a few of my favorites!

A Straw fedora is ideal for summer.  It’s light & airy, makes it a great beach hat too.  Here is a classic black one… you are always safe with black!

The Hamptons Fedora (black) $22

I enjoy this khaki fedora in spring and summer.  It’s very light and the color is perfect for sunny days - neutral with blue striped ribbon.  So chic… so cheap… straight from Target!

Fedora with Grosgrain Ribbon $12.99

This cozy wool fedora is lovely especially in fall & winter.  Pair with skinny jeans, long boots, and a blazer for a timeless look.

Yes, layer like a pro even in the summer for that chic, groovy look.  I put together a fun beachy outfit that will make many heads turn!

Put on a deep v-neck dress over a vibrant embroidered bikini (show off your gorgeous bikini top!), start layering some yummy accessories - wide belt (wear low on the waist… sexy) , beaded necklace, cowboy hat, aviator sunglasses and a lovely pair of platform wedges!  Top it off with an adorable crochet denim vest (unbuttoned).

As always, have fun layering by mixing & matching.  Now you are ready to hit the streets!

Kissable Jewelry Box - Kiss the LUVU

Posted by Sophie on April 6, 2009

LUVU… a sweet little thing captures women’s hearts.  The Korean IT company LUVU has come out with a unusual jewelry box called “Kiss the LUVU“.  So, what does it take to open this unusual jewelry case?  You guessed it… with a kiss!

The built in heat sensor detects the heat while a person kisses to open the case… I wonder if fingers, toes would work as well?  As it opens, it plays music and the LED lights up the precious jewel.  The egg-shape makes it easier to hold and I think this would be a cool gift for Easter.

I can’t help but to picture that if something goes wrong… you’ll be kissing it like crazy just to get it open.  Oh, a strict sanitizing is a must and no lipstick please!  LOL!  The price is not yet available as the product is set for release in Korea and hopefully elsewhere in the near future.

Big Blossoms for Your Wardrobe

Posted by Sophie on March 27, 2009

Big blossoms are not only for prom corsages.  Turn your old or cheap accessories into spring’s hottest trend for a fraction of the cost of buying new designer pieces.

Create your own designer look with these gorgeous fake blooms.  Put them on long pearl necklaces, shoes, and even on handbags for an instant romantic & feminine upgrade.  So perfect for the spring!

You can simply clip flower brooches.  These brooches are cheap and you can always take them off.  But it’s way more fun when it’s DIY!  Takes less than 30 minutes to create your own unique goodies/brooches.

I especially enjoy playing with cheap heels by turning them into fancy vintage-glam heels.  All you need is hot glue, beads/gems, some wire (I use for beads…), feathers, and of course, silk flowers (just cut the stems off)… they are like a dollar a piece from your local craft store.

Map out the design before you glue… and just go to town ladies!
