Stop concealing and Start healing

One thing every gal wants is beautiful skin.  Some are gifted with better skin from birth while some (like myself) have to work harder at it throughout life. Certain skin conditions make matters even worse such as acne, rosacea, eczema, etc.

It’s no surprise that the cosmetic industry rakes in billions.  Women are eager to show off that flawless face whenever possible ~ makeup has become the biggest part of a woman’s beauty arsenal.

One type of makeup I try to shy away from is foundation in that I really prefer to use it conservatively.  The more I cover up, the less beautiful I feel.  It is as simple as that.  I have always believed that true beauty looks great with makeup OR without makeup.

One common skin condition that many women resort to using makeup to conceal is rosacea.  Do you suffer from rosacea?  I hope not.  Fortunately, I only suffer from acne yet there are as many as 16 million Americans dealing with rosacea.

With a persistent redness, more than 4 in 5 rosacea sufferers have used cosmetics to cover up redness.  The problem is covering up with makeup is only a temporary solution not to mention the money spent on these expensive cosmetics can really add up.

In the long run, you are much better off treating the condition from the source instead of concealing your skin day to day ~ which means breaking up with your makeup & getting help from an effective topical gel such as Mirvaso. Mirvaso is used for the treatment of persistent facial erythema of rosacea or the treatment of persistent facial redness of rosacea.

I haven’t personally used Mirvaso but it is the first and only gel specifically developed and proven to reduce persistent facial redness of rosacea according to Galderma Laboratories, L.P. the maker of Mirvaso.  I would definitely give this a try if you suffer from rosacea as it will help heal the condition rather than simply concealing with makeup.  How wonderful would it be to not only heal the redness but also saying goodbye to a thick concealer!  Right?
