What is this pretty pink/peach goop that you see above?

It’s Garnier Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream!  Have you tried this?  I use it more often than any other face moisturizers.  I love the way it feels on my face.  The gel feels cool, light and totally refreshing, just as the name says.  Retailing at only about $8, it’s a superb alternative to the Clinique Moisture Surge and Biotherm Aquasource that many rave about.

gel cream review

This oil-free gel cream is fantastic year round especially for hot summer days.  It reminds me of putting on aloe gel after sun exposure.  I prefer the dry skin formula (in pink) over the original (in blue) but there isn’t much of a difference between the two from what I can tell.  A few minor cons are the alcoholic scent along with the formula that is not as moisturizing as some other creams.  Overall, it’s a heck of a cream for oily skin and combination skin.  An absolute beauty must!

Ok, so I’m always on the look out for the next beauty goodies to impress me.  If I had the means to splurge right now, it would be a face cream by Lancer.  The Vitamin C Cream and the Glycolic Cream are both on my beauty wish list to brighten up and improve overall skin texture.

One ingredient I can’t rave enough about is glycolic acid which has a number of anti-aging benefits.  I’m currently doing at-home glycolic peels to achieve more radiant skin and planning to incorporate the Lancer Glycolic Cream into my skin regimen as well.  Along with Victamin C cream, I’m hoping that these two products together will help my face glow from within!
