In to the waves

purple curling iron I’ve always preferred loose, barely-there waves (not Taylor Swift curls) for it’s natural, sexy appeal.  The best way to add volume and body to my bone straight, thick hair is to use a curling iron – it’s great at making me look less like Pocahontas.

The curling iron by Hot Tools I bought a while back has truly been my BFF for quite some time now.  It’s really a supertool that works well enough that I haven’t needed to buy other brands since.

Now I want to try this ceramic jumbo 2″ purple curling iron (model 2111) also by Hot Tools.  Yeah, purple!  Just the ceramic feature alone should be an improvement from my big fat gold curling iron (Image Beauty has it on sale for $41.59 + free shipping offer over $55).

Love the loose waves on these girls.  If only my hair could look like this everyday… maybe I’m one step closer with the new curling iron.

Here are my new fav hair products – Burt’s Bee Green Tea & Fennel Seed Color Keepers (love the scent!!), Aussie Heat Protecting Shine spray and Matrix Biolage Sunsorials protective spray that came in handy under harsh AZ sun.  I’ve also been using Organix Pomegranate Green Tea Anti-Frizz Serum for shine, also with a delish scent.
