Style me snake
Posted by Sophie on Tuesday, August 30th, 2011
One trend you can’t ignore this season is snake prints (python, reptile, whatever you call it). These exotic prints are seen everywhere from the FW 2011 runways to gracing the pages of the latest popular fashion magazines.
My latest episode of serpentine fever includes this Cynthia Rowely via TJ Maxx satchel that I picked up at TJ about a month ago. The cute saddle style and the sexy snaky print won me over, plus the $130 price tag wasn’t bad either. Hauled around this bag a few times now and it adds a nice punch to my outfit.

Snake prints were seen from several Fall 2011 collections (photos via style.com). Looking at fall runway fashion gets me real excited for cooler seasons. I’m considering buying a python print jacket… digging the blazer style by Gucci.

How about this beauty from the Burberry SS 2011 campaign? Sigh…

Python skined accessories reigned the Prada FW 2011 runway. Accessories are an easy, fab way to enjoy any animal print. But why pay extra $$$ for the real thing when faux prints look just as luxe?

Dress like Jennifer Lopez below if you want to look like a snake from head-to-toe. She should either go with the dress or the boots, but not both. What was she (or her stylist) thinking?
