I was recently contacted and given the opportunity to review a dress by Yummie Tummie. They are known for their unique shapewear. I picked out this particular Ella Rae Long Dress from their new collection. I love the fact that the dress is long sleeve which I can enjoy in the fall, winter and well into spring.
What a comfy & functional little black dress this is! The dress hugs the body like no other dresses I’ve worn. Goes on a bit tight but it hugs the body in the most flattering way… less bulges & bumps! The built-in shaper panel tightens & tucks all the right places from the waist down to the hem. Normally, clingy dresses show every little bump, but this dress lays quite smooth. The gorgeous ruching outside perfectly disguises it’s shapewear underneath and makes this dress look elegant.
I was asked to style this LBD. I quickly whipped up 2 looks – on a date & girls night out. There really are countless ways to give this dress a nice LBD makeover with it being so versatile.
First of all, excuse me for my frizzy hair. I just washed it and didn’t have the time to style. My date look here is nothing too serious, rather an easy & fun ensemble. Perhaps going out for dinner and catching a movie or something. Studded booties and bold ring adds just enough edginess. Put on a fur vest and cross-body bag for a more relaxed appeal.
It’s time for some night fun. I wanted to go for a simple, sexy look. Let the dress speak for itself without much fuss. I styled it with my newly gifted leopard print scarf and suede strap sandals. I don’t usually pile on the jewelry, a simple cocktail ring and dangling earrings (can’t see in pics) are good enough.
