Heart Cheese Toast

Did you like Sophie’s pretty Valentine Cookies?  Both Sophie & I have a thing for food… our true weakness.  Hahaha!  Well, here is my recipe you can make for Valentine’s DayHeart Cheese Toast.  Aren’t these just so adorable?  Again, they are easy to make and very yummy.  Perfect for an afternoon snack or appetizer!  Here is the recipe (this is just for my serving, you can make lots more!).

Heart Cheese Toast

4 slices of bread
2 tbs bread crumbs
2 tbs butter
2 tbs Parmesan cheese
1 tbs parsley flakes

Cut out bread with cookie cutter (heart, star, etc.).  Use the heart shape since it’s close to Valentine’s Day.  The bite size is lovely to munch on.

Spread butter on both sides.  On one side sprinkle Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, parsley (in this order).  There is quite a mess when applied on both sides, so I prefer to do it on one side only and just put the butter on the other.

Bake in the oven for 375°F at 10 to 15min or until a nice golden brown.

Drizzle maple syrup on top for sweetness… so yummy!  You can turn them into garlic bread by simply adding garlic!  They look so pretty when stacked!  Enjoy!
