Book Gift Wrapping – DIY

With that extra personal touch, turn an ordinary book into a beautiful gift for that special someone.  All you need is double-sided tape, scissors, craft paper, some yarn, and pretty bookmarks.  Super easy to do!

I prefer thick craft paper with grids but you can use your
favorite craft paper with colors, patterns, etc.

Plush, thick, colorful yarn is great for wrapping gifts.

Cut the paper according to the book size.  Wrap it around the book and use double-sided tape on the inside where it overlaps (so the tape won’t show)
Wrap the yarn 2 or 3 times around the book to secure.
Also wrap extra yarn around your hand about 4 to 5 times for the bow piece.

Tie the yarn on the book to make a big bow or bloom.

Arrange the yarn to make whatever shape you desire!

The butterfly bookmarks are so pretty but you can use other kinds.
Feel free to use leaves or petals for decorations as well.
You’ll make that person feel so special!

Actually, this is not just pretty, it is gorgeous. If anyone gave me a book wrapped like that as a gift, I would be so impressed that I wouldn’t dare open the package.
