Jessica Simpson will be launching her new signature fragrance called FANCY on August 15, 2008. Fancy sounds delightful - apricot nectar & vanilla creme as top notes with a lingering hint of gardenia & night-blooming jasmine.
“With Fancy, I wanted to create a pretty fragrance, one that I could be just as comfortable wearing on the red carpet or every day with my favorite jeans,” says Simpson. “For me, Fancy is just that: fancy. This is a unique fragrance - personal, whimsical, playful and romantic with a heart of gardenia, an essence I truly cherish.”
The bottle is pretty fancy also… vintage-inspired with rose gold floral motif is quite feminine (click on the bottle for a closer look). I hope the fragrance is just as fancy as the bottle. Can’t wait to sample it. According to one source, the Fancy line costs $59 for a 3.4 oz bottle, $49 for 1.7 oz and $30 for a 6 oz bottle of body lotion. I’m sorry…whenever I hear anything about this perfume I automatically think of that Reba McIntire song, “Fancy”, about the hooker. No matter what it smells like, it will always make me think of prostitutes.
