Cube Dwellings
By Sophie • May 23rd, 2008 • Category: Hip TravelHere is a set of the strangest houses, cube houses (Kubiswoning), are located in Rotterdam & Helmond in the Netherlands. These attached homes were built in 1984 by architect Piet Blom. The housese contain 3 floors, tilted 45 degrees and all rest on pilons. One of the owners decided to have a special show cube open to the public since the residents were so disturbed by curious visitors. Cubes are regularly on sale so you can buy one to experience the cube dwelling in gorgeous Netherlands!
